Announcing New Members and Officers to Feonix Board of Directors
During its annual board of directors meeting, Feonix – Mobility Rising, a national non-profit dedicated to bringing transportation to people who need it most, elected its officers Flora M. Castillo as President, Pete Costello as Vice President and Treasurer, John Peracchio as Secretary, and welcomed industry leaders Crissy Ditmore and Peter Appel, to its Board of Directors.

Feonix – Mobility Rising Awarded $457,000 Michigan Mobility Challenge Grant
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) announced today that Feonix – Mobility Rising, in partnership with Ann Arbor Area Transportation Authority, was awarded a $457,000 Michigan Mobility grant for their Feonix Connect project. The $8 Million Michigan Mobility Challenge is a grant initiative to use technology and innovation to address core mobility gaps for seniors, persons with disabilities, and veterans across the state.
NADTC Community Grants Awarded
NADTC community grants are designed to support communities to assess their transportation needs and develop and implement innovations and new models for increasing the availability of accessible transportation services for older adults and people with disabilities, including making effective use of Section 5310 Enhanced Mobility of Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities funds.
