Software Engineer Intern
Sanyam joins Feonix Mobility – Rising as a Software Engineer Intern. A senior at University of Nebraska-Lincoln, his major is Computer Science. Sanyam has a passion for coding and likes to try different, new software and integrate various applications with varied programming languages. Sam looks forward to continuing this skill that he has developed in his undergraduate work at Feonix by using innovative software that delivers effective applications to people in need.
Vanessa was born and raised in Corpus Christi, TX, and still calls that community home. Vanessa has a wealth of experience assisting area residents with transportation through positions with transit agencies, paratransit agencies, and ride-sharing organizations. When not meeting passenger needs, Vanessa enjoys spending time with her dog.
Community Development Manager
Jonathan is an experienced community advocate and leader with over 15 years of working for good in Dallas, TX. He’s worked to increase the implementation of bicycle infrastructure on Dallas’ aging roadways, presiding as the first Dallas Bicycle Coalition president and as a board member of Bike Friendly Oak Cliff. Jonathan is one of the original Better Block’s community volunteers that helped put the design/build concept to work for communities seeking to improve their built environments. He served as Project Manager with AARP’s Livable Communities programs in Fort Worth, Columbus, Albuquerque, Des Moines, and several other communities throughout the nation. Additionally, Jonathan has served on city and neighborhood boards and is a consultant for his neighborhood bike shop in Oak Cliff, where he lives with his spouse and two daughters. He’s professional, kind, and passionate about neighborhoods and the people who make them great.
I was born & raised in Texas. Single mother of 3 children and proud grandmother of 1. I love Jesus, books, music (jazz), dogs, cooking & spending time with family and friends.
Chief Operations Officer
Pete Costello is Feonix – Mobility Rising’s COO based in Orlando. Pete is an internationally recognized expert with experience in MaaS; Smart Cities; Transportation Big Data; Analytics and Performance Measures; and advanced traveler information services with numerous publications in industry magazines and presentations at conferences around the world. Pete serves as Chair, of the Mobility on Demand Alliance’s Universal Basic Mobility / Mobility Wallet Working Group at the Intelligent Transportation Society of America; and as a Member of the International Program Committee for the ITS World Congress.
Pete has over 20 years of experience across the Intelligent Transportation Systems industry developing programs, managing technical projects and growing world-class businesses.
Community Development Manager & Program Lead
Melanie brings over 25 years of professional experience to her role as Ride@50+ Program Lead in Columbia, SC. She has held previous titles of Director of Training, Talent Development Manager, Systems Trainer, Regional Manager, and Operations Business Manager in diverse industries such as healthcare, service/retail, communications/contact center, and foreign government.
Melanie grew up in Montreal, Canada, and attended Concordia University. She has received additional certifications in Leadership Training, Motivational Interviewing and Coaching Skills, and Instructional Design.
Brenda De Leon
I was born and raised in Corpus Christi Texas. I’ve been married for 18 years and have three sons and 10 grandchildren. I’ve been in the transportation business for over 15 years. I really enjoy meeting people and talking to people. The feeling of helping others and making a difference is really rewarding.
Ray De Leon
Francis was born in Africa, a country of which he was never a citizen. Born French he spent less than half of his life in France and now lives now in the U.S., a third country in a third continent. After twenty years of ministry in France as a pastor and evangelist and for ten of those years a professor of theology, he worked with his wife Helen on adapting the individualized curriculum of Accelerated Christian Education into the French language. Today, that curriculum is used in more than ten different French speaking countries. During that time he and Helen also worked as a freelance translator for people like Rick Warren, Kenneth Copeland or Jesse Duplantis.
Francis and Helen have been married for 43 years they have three girls who are all married and 7 grandkids. At the age of 63 Francis went to driving school and got his CDL A to realize one of his boy dreams: driving a semitrailer. After doing that for 5 years he quit and worked for Doordash for 10 months providing over 1,500 deliveries. Francis joined the Feonix Mobility Rising team in June 1st 2021 as a driver and is looking forward to serve in that capacity.
Community Development Manager
John Doherty holds a degree in Communications from the University of Cincinnati. He served as Vice President of Advertising and Sales for cityof.com for two years and is also a US Air Force veteran who achieved the rank of Technical Sargent. As a member of the US Air Force, John was responsible for various operations from guarding nuclear weapons, to leading an ER during Hurricane Harvey disaster relief, to special projects as selected by the Air Force Medical Operations and the National Guard Bureau.
Holmes County Community Mobility Coordinator
My name is LaRhonda Lashae Donelson. I am a devoted mother of 3; Londyn, Landon, and Royalty. I was raised in Holmes County, Lexington, Mississippi by my parents. My hobbies consist of cooking/catering, helping others, and spending time with my family. I live by the motto, “Don’t put off until tomorrow what you can do today”.
April attended the University of Nebraska – Lincoln (UNL) where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts. Her career has enveloped many roles including: professional artist and photographer, graphic designer, entrepreneur, marketing director, and event coordinator, with additional experiences in project management and human resources. As an intuitively creative individual, April aims to think outside the box to find the best solution for the problem at hand. Outside of her work, April enjoys time with her family and friends, the outdoors, live music, cooking and creating of any kind.
Wellness Program NEMT Driver
Derek joined the Feonix team as a NEMT driver in Coastal Bend, TX, in 2021. He brings an extensive background in medical transportation and a passion for serving others. A married father of three children, Derek enjoys the outdoors and weight lifting.
Trainer and Volunteer Program Manager
Heather joined Feonix – Mobility Rising in July 2019 as Trainer and Volunteer Program Manager. She trains volunteers and educates community organizations and transportation providers on how to use our booking platforms. Heather graduated from Southeast Community College in 2008 in Nursing. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor in Nonprofit Administration from the University of Nebraska Omaha. Heather understands that transportation accessibility directly impacts patients’ access to care and overall health and is passionate about sharing the power of volunteerism.
Kere Greene brings over 20 years’ experience in leadership operations, client relations and HR management. Served as President/COO of minority owned Assure Ride. In addition, Kere was the past President of Shuttle Express, VP/COO at BlueMax Solutions and BlueMax Ventures. Mr. Greene began his professional career at US Teledata Inc., and after five years was offered the opportunity to lead a 24/7 multi-contact call center facility at Electronic Data Systems. Kere earned professional credentials from Georgia State University in business administration, strategic business planning and leadership effectiveness, and served on the board of Global Civic Preservation (GCP), which is global organization developed to advocate and provide solutions for marginalized youth and community issues that hinder people. He was appointed to the board of Greater Trinity ARISE Academy, which is a school that was created for children to have a solid foundation built upon reading and writing, and selected for the “Real Men Wear Pink” campaign in the fight against breast cancer by the American Cancer Society.
Michelle joined Feonix – Mobility Rising in 2021 as an Executive Assistant. Bringing over ten years of experience as an administrative assistant, Michelle is highly skilled in office management strategies such as scheduling, email and calendar management, travel coordination, catering, expense reporting, monthly and yearly budgeting, and collaborating with leadership teams.
Michelle grew up in a small town in Iowa and moved to Lincoln, NE, in 2006. Beyond her work with Feonix, Michelle enjoys reading a good thriller book, creating and painting door art, refinishing furniture, and spending time with her five children.
Karen Jordan - Neal
Call Center Manager
Holly brought five years of experience providing customer service to her role as Call Center Manager for Feonix – Mobility Rising in 2018. She attended Southeast Community College in Lincoln, Nebraska. She leads a high work-flow call center by overseeing inbound and outbound calls and completing research assignments for the team.
Social Determinants of Health and Mobility Policy Advisor Intern
Nicole is a college junior studying Sociology at Brown University. Having always been involved with community service in and around her hometown in South New Jersey, Nicole understands and values the impact that a sense of belonging and integrated community can have on personal development. She is passionate about finding grassroots and community-based solutions to social issues with systemic roots. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, playing piano, and cooking for herself, family, and friends.
Call Center Agent
Jacaranda was born and raised in Corpus Christi, TX, where she graduated from Calallen High School in 2014. Before joining Feonix – Mobility Rising as a call center agent, she began her customer service career, and her two sons were born. Jacaranda is grateful for the role she has within Feonix because she can help close the transportation gaps that have impacted her family members. Jacaranda is inspired in her work because she believes it lifts a weight from families to know their loved ones are in great hands with Feonix Wellness drivers in Coastal Bend, TX.
Community Resource Coordinator
A classically trained musician, Shelley received her bachelor’s degree at Maryville College and her master’s degree at East Carolina University. Since then, she has worked for educational institutions, church organizations, and retail management. Shelley provided home healthcare for her mother and her grandparents, which is how she saw firsthand the need for reliable transportation. Shelley utilizes her skills, contacts, and personal experience to support the AARP Ride@50+ Program in Columbia, SC.
Community Development Manager
Alison grew up in Ann Arbor, MI, and attended the University of Michigan. Since graduation, she has lived in Metro Detroit, Germany, and Washington DC before making her way back in 2016 to the city she loves so much – Ann Arbor.
Growing up in Southeast Michigan, Alison’s family, friends, neighbors, and surrounding community have long been connected in some way to transportation. Alison has always been interested in mobility and how people get from point A to point B, interested in evolving ideas and technology in mobility. With Feonix, she is thrilled to marry her passion for new mobility ideas to doing good and making a difference in the community she loves so much.
Lead Wellness Program Driver
As Lead Driver, Stephen brings with him a deep commitment to his community and a passion for helping others. In addition to 15 years of professional driving experience, his natural talents for organization and time-management and his enduring positivity and personable attitude create a safe, secure, affirming experience for his passengers. Stephen further serves his community outside work as a USTA Certified Roving Umpire and volunteering as a volleyball coach for local youth.
Call Center Agent
Eli joined the Call Center team mid-summer of 2020, inspired that his work as a call center agent can genuinely improve people’s lives. After working in customer service for four years, he has grown to enjoy helping customers with their daily needs. Additionally, Eli has unique experience in Sales / Management from a local roofing contractor and is currently working towards a business degree.
Hannah Schmidt is a Senior at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, studying Advertising and Public Relations, Global Studies, and Journalism. She is the Marketing Intern for the Feonix Team and helps create content, graphics, research, and more. In her free time, she enjoys Skyping with her six siblings or playing World of Warcraft. Her favorite hobbies are reading, decorating, and baking. She values honesty, a bit of fun, and a good work ethic in her day-to-day life.
Senior Project Manager
Kate Schramm graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of South Dakota. She has worked for non-profits, educational institutions, religious institutions, and, just prior to Feonix, as an Area Manager for Liberty Mobility Now, a rural-focused Mobility as a Service (MaaS) start-up. Instituting positive change in her home community has always been a way of life for Kate. Through Feonix, Kate has made it her personal and professional mission to use her desire to serve and ability to lead to put all of the necessary pieces together to remove mobility barriers for individuals across the United States.
Jessica is a seasoned account manager and a great resource for our team. She has worked at companies such as Gallup, Kawasaki, and Liberty Mobility Now, where she was an assistant call center manager and fleet manager. Jessica has ten years of experience in communication and customer service. She is committed to the wellbeing of her hometown of Lincoln, NE. Jessica enjoys creative writing and became a published poet at the age of nine.
Erin is a graphic designer with over a decade of print and digital design, marketing, and communications experience in various fields. However, she has always come back to transportation and transportation technologies and is especially thrilled to be helping under-resourced communities get assistance and uplifting through Feonix. When not at work, she can be found engaging with her three dogs in a number of sports (like disc, agility, conformation, and scentwork!) and training opportunities.
Wellness Program NEMT Driver
Jocelyn has been a licensed Cosmetologist since 2006, and joined the Feonix team as a NEMT driver in Coastal Bend, TX during 2021. She loves working with individuals who are in need of support to access services for their health and wellbeing. Jocelyn has often thought she would enjoy nursing as well, and has discovered her current work as a wonderful opportunity to do what she is called in her heart to do for others. Jocelyn loves her role with Feonix and is excited to be a part of our mission and vision. She shares best wishes for everyone along the way.
